DESCRIPTION:James Casey has performed\, recorded\, produced and written wit
 h many of the world’s leading and most influential artists including The
  Roots\, J. Cole\, John Legend\, Wu-Tang and many others. As a patient adv
 ocate diagnosed with colorectal cancer at the age of 38\, he used his stor
 y of early age onset colorectal cancer to be a fierce advocate for CRC scr
 eening. He passed away on August 28\, 2023 surrounded by friends and famil
 y.\n\nJames had a unique ability to bridge a wide range of musical worlds 
 and artists\, and they will be represented onstage at this celebration of 
 life in Brooklyn\, NY.\n\nWe invite you to JOIN US as we remember our brot
 her’s spirit through an evening of joy.  Proceeds to benefit the Colorec
 tal Cancer Alliance and the Association of Black Gastroenterologists and H
 epatologists.
